Our Go-To’s

I founded Kivelstadt Cellars based on my love of the amazing vineyards that make California’s North Coast. After leaving a career in consulting, I traveled the world making wine in California, Australia, Chile, and Argentina. In 2007, I experimented by making 125 cases of Syrah from my family’s vineyard. I knew that the coastal influence of Northern California could produce wines that embody the best of California, inspired by thousands of years of European winemaking. I still strive to find the most unique terroir in Sonoma and Mendocino counties, and let the vineyards show through in our wines. Kivelstadt Cellars is all about meeting you where you are in your wine journey and creating truly unique wines and experiences.
